Hair colorist Tony Castro specializes in 'balayage', a French coloring technique that involves painting selected hair strands for a more natural, beautiful look. When your hair color starts to grow out, you don't have a line of demarcation that you get with foils, so the results last longer. And less hair dye is generally used, making balayage less damaging to the hair.
ABOUT TONY
Tony Castro was born, raised, and educated in southern California. An interest in photography and fashion gave way to a strong passion for hair - specifically hair coloring.
Tony earned his cosmetology diploma from Vidal Sassoon and went on to work for Frederic Fekkai, one of the most innovative and celebrated hair salons in Beverly Hills. While working on Rodeo Drive for ten years, Tony mastered a French 'balayage' coloring technique that gives clients the most perfect color match.
At Frederic Fekkai, Castro colored the hair of actresses Katherine Heigl, Alicia Silverstone, Dana Delaney, and Patricia Heaton, among many others. Tony Castro's extraordinary color work has been featured in movies and television shows including: CSI Miami, E.R., Grey's Anatomy, and The Girls Next Door.
